✨ “I Was Looking for a Sign”

Today, I went into a restaurant to pick up a food order while doing my delivery route. The bag the food was packed in had some grease on the outside, so I asked a young woman behind the counter if I could get another bag.
She said, “Sure,” with a smile and helped me double-bag it without hesitation. Simple kindness. Quick interaction. I left.
But as I walked out to my car, I paused — like I often do.
I always ask the Holy Spirit to guide me in who to bless that day with a $50 gift card from the Jesus Fund — a fund I set aside to give away 10% of my income and bless people who need a reminder that Father God sees them.
And in that moment, I knew.
“Go back in. Give it to her.”
I opened my glove box, grabbed a gift card, and went back into the restaurant.
She came around the corner, curious.
I said, “I have something for you.”
She looked at me, surprised.
“For me? Really?”
“Yes,” I said. “I have a Jesus Fund. I put 10% of what I make into it, and I give it away when the Holy Spirit tells me to. And today, He told me to give this to you.”
She stood there for a moment — not just surprised, but moved.
“I’ve really been looking for a sign lately,” she said. “I think this is it. I think it’s going to be okay.”
I looked her in the eyes and said,
“Father God sees you. He sees how hard you’re working, and your great attitude. Just keep showing up — the abundance will come.”
She smiled.
Raised her hand for a high five.
And you could feel the Spirit fill the space — just for a moment — in that ordinary place.
“God bless you,” I said as I walked out.

I don’t share these moments to say, “Look what I did.”
I share them to say, Look what Father God is doing — every day — through small acts of obedience.
That young woman didn’t ask for anything. She was just doing her job. But He saw her. And she needed a sign.
And that day… He gave her one.
